Top Ten Upcoming Book To Movie Adaptations

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Every Tuesday they post a new Top Ten list prompt. This week’s list is – Top Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I’m Looking Forward To.  I usually end up missing the movies I want to see while they are in the theater and end up renting later, but I will probably see all of these at some point! If there are any other adaptations that you’re looking forward to, or if you have your own top ten post, please leave me a comment and / or a link!

Click the book covers to go to the book’s page on Goodreads for a description, or the image to be taken to IMDB for more info on the film.

  1. YES to Mockingjay part 2, me and my housemate are going to the midnight premiere of that next week and I CANT WAIT it’s going to be a great conclusion to the series I believe. And I didnt even know they were making a film of Fallen, although tbh I didnt enjoy that series that much…
    Great list 🙂

  2. I am WAY excited for Victor Frankenstein. I absolutely don’t care how loosely based it is, it looks like a hoot.
ALSO – recently on my trip to New York I visited the Public Library and saw the room where they have the work of the Romantics stored! I was within yards of their original notes and publishings! *heavy breathing*
And Miss Peregrine’s Home – haven’t read the book yet but it looks made for a Burton adaptation. Have you read it?

    1. I have read Miss Peregrine’s, and it is perfect for Tim Button. Even if he doesn’t stick too close to the story it should be good. And I’m with you on Victor Frankenstein – it looks great!

Also…I would LOVE to visit the NY public library!! 😍 I might get the family to visit NY, but not sure I could get them excited enough to go with me. Guess I could send them shopping for a while… 😄

      1. There’s so much stuff right around the library that it’d be easy to do a little side trip and everybody is still pleased. I hope you all get to go! It was awesome!
