I’ve decided to do Top Ten Books My Daughter Cloie Wants Me to Read. I did actually read this one when I was her age, but it’s been a little while and I don’t remember much about it.

6. Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit

Cloie says : I don’t usually like historical fiction, but this one had a fantasy twist that made it really interesting.

5. Cinderskella by Amie Borst
Cinderskella (Scarily Ever Laughter, #1)
Cloie’s description : It is an epic suspenseful fantasy. (Sounds good to me!)

3. Esperanza Rising by Pam Muñoz Ryan

Cloie’s description : A tearjerker that shows the difficulties of being a Mexican immigrant in California during the Great Depression.

  4. Chocolate Fever is indeed a great title! Funny that “Fever” pops up again in the last pick. I took a quick look at it on GoodReads; it seems that personal stories set during epic events can be especially powerful.

  7. First – FUN topic!! Love that you had your daughter help you 🙂 Second – I’m gonna for sure have to check out the Henry Winkler book. I mean, c’mon on. Henry. Winkler. lol Third – Tuck Everlasting is such a good book! Prioritize that one 🙂 My TTT
