Ten Best Recent Reads

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Every Tuesday they post a new Top Ten list prompt. This week’s prompt is… Ten Of The Best Books I’ve Read Recently. These are all 4 or 5 star books that I’ve read over the last several months. They’re in chronological order here – I read number ten in November of last year, and reviewed number one just today. Let me know what you thought if you’ve read any of them!

Be sure to leave me a link to your own post, or let me know what you’ve read recently that was good in the comments below.

  1. Love your list as usual! I was strict in my 5-star rating this week, so MC Beaton didn’t make my list. I love Hamish but most of those books are 4 stars for me. 🙂 Try Not to Breathe was really good, I loved the way it shifted between the characters and the past/present to tell the story. I enjoyed the first 2/3 of Crimson Shore, but then the end blew it for me – I felt like they were just trying to cram the supernatural in since it was a Pendergast novel. Maybe the ending will make more sense to me when the next book comes out. 🙂

I see some new books on here I need to add to my TBR. 🙂 As always!

  2. Ugh, so many people have recommended The Diviners to me but I haven’t read it yet. It sounds so fantastic, but it’s a huuuuge book and commitment, idk when I’ll have the courage to finally read it 😀
