Looking through my browsing history, I see a distinct theme. I’ve been doing Zentangle and Zentangle inspired art a lot lately, and most of the sites I visit are related to these things.

But what is Zentangle®? According to its creators, the Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.

10. Bunte Galerie on Youtube
There are lots of great videos to help if you can’t get the hang of a particular pattern, but I spend the most time viewing Bunte Galerie.

9. I Am the Diva – CZT
Personal blog of a certified Zentangle teacher – she hosts a weekly Zentangle challenge, and participants link back to their blogs or online creations. It’s fun to see how many different ways people interpret the week’s challenge.

8. Tangle Harmony by Amaryllis Creations
Genevieve Crab runs this blog, and publishes a weekly reound-up of new patterns, groups, contests, and more related to Zentangle.

A great resource if you are interested in giving Zentangle a try. There are lots of tutorials, and the most comprehensive list of patterns I’ve seen in one place.

Why is this one #1? Besides being mostly patterns created by a great group of people from a Facebook group I belong to, I have my own author page (*blush*) with patterns I have created.
