Jenny Kales is the author of The Callie’s Kitchen Mystery Series, featuring Greek-American Calliope Costas, feisty food business owner and amateur sleuth, who lives in a scenic Wisconsin town with colorful characters and a high murder rate! Each book contains several delicious recipes, both Greek and American.

Jenny is an avid reader, cook and baker.  She is addicted to mystery TV shows like Miss Fisher and Midsomer Murders.   1. Bayfield, WI it’s a little town on Lake Superior that has a ferry to Madeline Island, they string lights on it at Christmas. The town is snow covered at this time of the year, and all of the shops are decorated for Christmas, a quaint little town untouched by the commercialization.

  2. Up by Lake Superior in Wisconsin so many lakes and waterfalls. You can walk on the ice to go to caves. Beautiful up there. I’m in Wisconsin too but at least 6 hours from there.
