Thrift Shop Treasure!

Did I need to go to the thrift store on my lunch hour and buy more books? Well, probably not, but I did have fun! I found some great stuff this trip.

Some mysteries (and a little sci-fi) for me:

And a bunch for my girls:

Have you had any great finds lately?

The Book Market Bookshop, Crest Hill, IL

I visited The Book Market used bookstore in Crest Hill, IL yesterday. They have recently moved into a new space, and it is impressive!

According to the business card I picked up, they have over 250,000 new and used books, and the store is over 5,000 square feet. I was in heaven – row after row after row of books! 🙂

They have mystery, sci-fi, romance, general fiction, and just about anything else you can imagine.

There’s also a large kids’ section with lots of Goosebumps books, which my daughter is going to love.

If you are in the area, be sure to check them out!

Bookstore Haul!

I’m on vacation at the moment, visiting my folks in Tennessee. Whenever we come for a visit, I always try to get to the Book Cellar used bookstore in Crossville. They have a huge selection, and some of the best prices I’ve seen in a used book store.

My purchases today:
I picked up a couple of gothic romance novels, a thriller, and a cozy mystery.

There are always a few boxes out front of the store where they put books that are “free for the taking”. I don’t usually find anything I want in them, but I hit the motherload today! 🙂

There was also a Tami Hoag hardcover with no dust jacket that I picked up. Couldn’t be happier with my finds today!

If you live in the area and haven’t visited, you should. They’re at 184 Woodmere Mall in Crossville, Tennessee.
