What are you reading Wednesday – 7/29/15
What Are You Reading Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Its A Reading Thing. To participate, open the book you are currently reading to page 34 (or 34% in your ebook) and answer these three questions. Feel free to leave your answers or a link to your blog post in the comments.
The Questions are:
1. What’s the name of your current read?
2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a complete sentence. (or two!)
3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?
I’m reading a few things this week, but here’s the ebook I’m in the middle of….
1. Isolation by Mary Anna Evans
Faye Longchamp #9
2. “I’m on the far west side of the island, under that big oak tree standing all by itself next to the water. Something’s not right, Joe. I’m not sure what it is, but something’s not right.”
3. I don’t think I’d want to live here. At first, the idea of being on a private island sounds appealing, but the more you realize just how isolated Faye and her family are from civilization, (and help, if needed) the less ideal it sounds.

I love this meme. Can any body do it as long as we give credit to “Its a reading thing”?

I’m reading ‘Refining Fire’ by Tracie Peterson. This is an ARC I received recently. I have read several of Tracie Peterson’s book and always enjoy them. Page 34 – ‘Another cough from the elder, his emotion sincere. “We thought it only appropriate that we ask on of pastor Klingle’s good friends to speak on this occasion, therefore I now turn the service over to Reverend Swanson.” ‘ Most of the story takes place in Seattle. It would not be my first choice of a place to live but it would be okayt.

I’ve been reading The Silkworm in between ARCs. Almost done. I love it, but next time I read a Cormoran Strike novel I need to dedicate my time to that one. Too many characters to be popping in and out like I have been.

I’m glad to hear you like it – I’ve been meaning to read that! I haven’t gotten around to any of her non-JK Rowling titles yet.
