Great post. Just curious do you ever go through reading or blogging slumps when you have already committed to reviewing and how do you deal with it?

  Hi Nicola. I’ve gone through both. I was doing several memes each week along with reviews and blog tours, and it was getting overwhelming. I’ve (temporarily, I hope!) given up the memes to focus on other posts, and that has helped. Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you look at it, I have a morbid fear of missing a deadline. I may put off reading a book for a review or a blog tour until the day before, but then I’ll stay up until I get through! 🙂

    I understand. I was finding all the book tags/ awards quite overwhelming so I just had to make the decision to not do them anymore or I would have burnt out.

    Yes – i still like to do one every now and then, but I don’t try to do them all any more.
