Synopsis: 

Lucille Pfiffer sees, but not with her eyes. She lives with her beloved dog Vanilla (“Nilla” for short) in a cozy neighborhood that is quite “active” due to what occurred in the distant past. Though totally blind, she plays an integral role in helping to solve pressing and puzzling mysteries, one right after the other, which, without her, might remain unsolved.

The question is: How can she do any of that with such a handicap?

 

 

 

Lucille Pfiffer is blind, medically speaking, but has acquired a gift of “sight” that comes and goes on its own, allowing her glimpses into the world around her. When a young woman dies during Lucille’s 50th wedding anniversary party, she will need her wits and her gift to figure out which of her guests is a murderer.

Blind Sight was a quick, enjoyable read and Lucille’s treatment of her tenants as though they were her own boys made her feel like a dear aunt or grandmother. The supernatural element to the story was an interesting twist, and I had lots of fun watching her solve the mystery. This was a nice start to a new series.
